AI Safety Nightcap

​Hi, all! My husband John and I are hosting drinks on the Friday night of EAGx, and you're very welcome.

​I'm starting IISA, the Irish Initiative for Safe AI, over in Dublin. John's on the technical side and I'm on the field building side, and we want to meet other people working on these kinds of initiatives and problems so we can all work together.

​There's already a Field Building Dinner on the Saturday which you should absolutely go to. As many of us are only in Oxford for a couple of days, this seems like a good chance just to create more touch points between people.

​This event is open to everyone, so please consider stopping by for a nightcap before bed.

​A few practical things. Drinks are at the bar and you buy your own. We'll bring name tags for you to fill out. We're in The Gallery on the ground floor until 10:30, when the place turns into a reggaeton night, so anyone who wants to keep going can just stay put.

​This one is for EAGxOxford attendees, so we check sign-ups against the attendee list. Please use the name you registered with so we can double-check as we approve.

​The Oxford Retreat is about fifteen minutes west of Examination Schools and three minutes from the station. We've run events there before and it's a good space.
