Beginner Mahjong Guided Play

​After you've completed a Mahjong 101 course, join us for guided play! This is two hours of American Mahjong guided play - meaning, you will have two or more instructors monitoring games and helping as needed. We can help with game set up, mahj rule reminders, answer questions about how to build hands, guide players on which tiles to discard, and how to pivot!

We will provide all materials for the guided play, and some snacks and drinks for you to enjoy. If you have your own mahj set, feel free to bring it! We also have 2026 NMJL cards for purchase ($14 each). We can't wait to Mahj with you!

​Cancellation Policy: We understand sometimes plans change. Because mahjong is a game where four players are preferred, and particularly needed during the beginner stage, we kindly ask that if you can't make it, you cancel your registration with at least 48 hours notice.
