The Architecture of Resentment: What We Hold & Why We Can't Let Go
Resentment doesn't arrive all at once; it accumulates.
The Architecture of Resentment: What We Hold & Why We Can't Let Go is a 90-minute reflective workshop exploring the psychology of resentment: how it builds, what it's protecting, and what it costs us to keep carrying it.
Drawing from attachment theory, relational psychology, and somatics, this gathering examines:
How resentment forms from unexpressed needs and unspoken expectations
Why it's easier to resent than to ask directly or set boundaries
What resentment reveals about power, fairness, and what we believe we deserve
The difference between healthy anger and corrosive resentment
How resentment lives in the body and what release actually requires
Practices for moving from resentment toward repair, boundary-setting, or letting go
Through guided journaling, somatic exercises, and facilitated discussion, we'll explore what you're holding, what's keeping you tethered to it, and what might become possible if you set some of it down.
This is a spring release: a chance to examine what no longer serves you and practice making space for something new.
This workshop is for anyone carrying old grudges, struggling with bitterness in relationships, or feeling stuck in cycles of blame and frustration. Spots are limited to preserve intimacy.
