Join us for a timely and collaborative discussion on how recent and anticipated federal policy changes are reshaping the health coverage landscape and placing new pressures on the health workforce.
Hosted as expanded quarterly meeting of the Chicagoland Healthcare Workforce Collaborative, in partnership with the Public Health Workforce Collaborative, the Health First Collaborative, and Staying Strong, this session will bring together diverse stakeholders to better understand anticipated changes and what they mean in practice for workforce development practitioners and the health workforce.

An overview of federal funding shifts, including changes to Medicaid, the ACA, and workforce funding
The impact of these changes on health systems and the health workforce
SNAP and Medicaid work requirements: what you need to know and how to support individuals navigating those changes
Small group discussions to identify strategies to mitigate challenges and strengthen collective response efforts
This session is designed to foster shared understanding, surface real-time challenges, and encourage coordinated action across organizations in this evolving policy environment.
