In The Loop: Overcooked After Party
No programming. No name tags.
We spend all day on the line, behind the pass, and in front of the computer but service is over. The doors lock, the last table clears, and the people who just spent twelve hours feeding strangers finally sit down and eat something themselves. The best conversation of the night happens after the work is done.
Warm up by the fire on the patio or cool down with a drink by the bar but definitely have some leftovers. The competition will be sure to “Steam” up as we chill out and play Overcooked! You will lose. Someone who has actually worked a line will lose worse. It is the funniest possible way to end a day about food systems.
For anyone who came for the day and isn't ready to go home, and for anyone who couldn't make the day but wants to meet the people who were there. Come late. Come for twenty minutes. Come in whatever you wore to work. Irish exits are welcome.
Shoes off. Music up. Game On.
This runs at the end of In The Loop: Circular Food Economy
