BUILT TO LAST: Wisdom Across Generations on Leadership, Legacy & Building Institutions That Endure
As the world gathers in New York for UNGA and Climate Week, AfriWomen invites you to gather with us for connection, conversation, and collective reflection.
At the heart of the gathering will be a fireside chat with two pioneering African women leaders, Erelu Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi and H. E. Prof. Emerita Abena Busia, sharing wisdom from decades of building, leading, and sustaining institutions and movements across generations.
Together, we’ll explore what it takes to build institutions that endure, how leadership and legacy are carried forward, and what becomes possible when we connect our wisdom, experiences, relationships, and resources across generations and geographies.
We’ll make space for stories, shared wisdom, new connections, and a question worth carrying forward: What are we building today that will matter for generations to come?
Come ready to connect, contribute, and be inspired.
