Sharbat: a curated night for the people who shape travel
Sharbat is the sweet red drink Egyptians pour when there's good news: a wedding, a new business, a deal agreed. On Wednesday 4 November, during WTM week, we're pouring it in London for 150 people who shape travel.
The night runs in three parts: a fireside chat with Dan Christian, Founder & Host of Travel Trends Podcast, then real conversation with people worth meeting, then live music to close.
Who's in the room
Around 150 hand-picked guests: content creators, hoteliers and hosts, luxury travel designers, special-interest travel agents, events and MICE professionals, and community leaders.
Why this night
Anyone can plan a trip with AI now. What a traveller still pays for is a person with great stories, real taste and a point of view: the creator who knows which corner is worth the walk, the hotelier who knows where to send a guest on a Tuesday night, the agent who will say no to the wrong hotel, the planner who makes a group of fifty feel looked after. That is what everyone in this room does for a living. One evening to compare notes on how to do it better.
