After the Aid Cliff: Reimagining Financing for Women’s Health
Hosts: Fòs Feminista; Gender Funders CoLab; Equality Fund; Kisumu Medical and Education Trust (KMET); Belize Family Life Association (BFLA)
When aid disappears, what replaces it?
As traditional funding shrinks, innovative financing models are emerging around the world to sustain healthcare for marginalized women — shifting power, resources, and decision-making closer to communities.
This interactive fishbowl brings together philanthropists, investors, and frontline leaders to explore how social enterprise, feminist funding collaboratives, and community-driven financing are reshaping what’s possible.
Together, we’ll unpack what’s working, where gaps remain, and how investing with and for women builds resilient health systems for the long term. This isn’t a panel you’ll sit through — it’s a conversation you’ll step into.
The fishbowl format invites participants to engage directly with leaders from Fòs Feminista, Gender Funders CoLab, and the Equality Fund, alongside on-the-ground experts from Kenya (KMET) and Belize (BFLA), to share lessons, tensions, and hard-won insights.
You’ll leave with practical examples, fresh cross-sector connections, and concrete ideas for advancing equitable, community-centered financing that lasts.
