About Event

Join us on May 14th at 6:30pm for a special event to celebrate Folsom being named one of America's most patriotic cities. Uncle Charlie' Firehouse & Brew is hosting with help from the Tribe.

Jack Sacco, Pulitzer Prize-nominated author of the book "Where the Birds Never Sing" will share the story behind the book. It is a powerful tribute to his father, an American GI who landed at Omaha Beach, fought under General Patton during the Battle of the Bulge, and helped liberate the Dachau concentration camp.

Here is what to expect:

  • A featured talk from Jack Sacco

  • Reflections on Where the Birds Never Sing

  • A meaningful event supporting Folsom's Most Patriotic City Campaign

  • Community gathering at Uncle Charlie's Firehouse & Brew

Registration is $20, which includes a beverage. All proceeds go to Uncle Charlie's Firehouse & Brew, a veteran-owned organization.

We look forward to another gathering of the Tribe!
