​Organization - Southern Maine Agency on Aging

​For over 50 years Southern Maine Agency on Aging (SMAA) has helped enrich the lives of older adults and their caregivers in Cumberland and York counties. Along with serving as a hub of information and resources, SMAA addresses a wide range of concerns for older Mainers, including nutrition, wellness, social isolation, finances, housing, and respite.

​Description: Writing cards for Meals on Wheels recipients.

​Responsibilities: Writing cards for those that received Meals on Wheels. Cards should have messages that are cheerful and positive: Write short, encouraging notes like "Thinking of you," "Have a nice day," or "Friendly hello". You do not need to sign the cards personally. These are a simple way for recipients to know that someone is thinking of them.

​Location: Cards will be available at the front desk.
