Description of the Event
The UK Parliament’s International Development Committee (IDC) is running a critical inquiry seeking YOUR input on the future effectiveness and direction of UK aid spending. This is a unique and direct opportunity to influence policy, especially as the aid budget faces a significant reduction from £15.4 billion to £9.2 billion by 2027.
Join the Global Policy Research Group and Effective Altruism St Andrews + Cambridge for a guided, interactive workshop where you will help directly influence Parliament's work.
What You Will Do
The speakers will guide you step-by-step through the inquiry process, the arguments sourced from cause area experts, and how to make a submission yourself. You will:
