New to Halden? Start your Welcome Week by discovering everything the city has to offer!
Join Halden Municipality for a free welcome evening at Skofabrikken, where you'll meet local organizations, learn about life in Halden, and connect with other newcomers.
Whether you're looking for sports clubs, educational opportunities, help finding a job, advice on starting a business, or simply want to explore what's happening in the city, this is a great place to begin.
There'll be plenty of time to network and ask questions. Light refreshments will be provided. The event will be held in English and is free to attend. Please RSVP.
Preliminary programme:
16.30 – Doors open at Halden library
17.00 – Welcome, with mayor Fredrik Holm
17.15 – Destinasjon Halden highlights attractions in Halden
17.30 – Presentation of collaboration partners and stands
17.40 – Coffee, tea, and pastries outside Frivilligsentralen (downstairs)
17.40 – Stands open. Network and learn about associations, entrepreneurship, education, municipality, the job center, and more! Talk to the exhibitors and receive information about the exciting opportunities that Halden has to offer!
19.00 – The event ends. Thank you for attending!
Practical information:
• There is seating for 150 people in the meeting room on the second floor of Halden Library
• You are welcome to bring friends and family. The event is open to everyone, including long-time residents who want to learn more about the city.
