​Bob Maguire is the Chairman and Founder of BioLab Sciences. After a long and successful career in the telecommunications industry, at the age of 50, Bob decided to return to school to get his executive MBA at the W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. On his last day of grad school, Bob had a life-altering moment — a rollover car accident from which Bob miraculously walked away without a scratch. As a result, Bob couldn’t help but wonder, “Am I really doing anything to help improve lives or to help others?” And the answer — painfully — was no. Bob was helping businesses become more efficient, but he really wasn’t changing lives. Bob wanted to create value for other human beings. So, he made a career shift from software sales to regenerative medicine.
