About Event

​We’re excited to announce The Agency Summit: Expanding Opportunities to Act, Choose, and Thrive - a one-day conference hosted by The Agency Fund and New York University.

​The summit will bring together researchers, practitioners, and funders to examine how personal and collective agency can shape more sustainable development outcomes.

​Confirmed speakers include:

  • ​Carolina Trivelli (former Peruvian Minister for Development)

  • ​Hazel Markus (Stanford Professor)

  • ​Karla Hoff (former World Bank WDR Director)

  • ​Joseph Stiglitz (Nobel laureate)
