Your AI Policies Won't Save You

Policies describe what your AI should do. Runtime governance enforces it. Join Aligne AI and IBM for a private roundtable on the control layer every enterprise AI deployment is missing.

Tuesday, 14 July 2026 | From 03:00pm to 05:00pm

Your AI is running. Do you know what it is doing?

Your organisation has deployed AI. You have policies, risk assessments and vendor sign-offs. What you don’t have is operational visibility into what your AI systems are actually doing in production - right now, at the point of inference.

That is the governance gap. And in a world of autonomous agents, shadow AI, sensitive data exposure and looming regulatory enforcement, it is the gap that will define who scales AI with confidence and who gets caught out.

This is not another AI policy workshop.

This is a closed-door session for senior technology, security and governance leaders who are past the policy stage - and ready to build the runtime control layer that actually enforces it.

No vendor pitches. No slides about the future of AI. Just a sharp, practitioner-led conversation about what operational AI governance looks like when it works - and what it costs when it does not.

What we will get into

🔵 Why your AI policies stop working the moment your models go live - and what fills the gap

🔵 How to monitor, control and evidence every AI interaction at the point of inference - not after the fact

🔵 Agentic AI: why autonomous systems demand a fundamentally different governance posture than copilots and assistants

🔵 The AI cost blindspot - how uncontrolled token consumption is quietly creating margin exposure across your AI estate

🔵 What SM&CR (from FCA) and the EU AI Act now require from senior managers - and what audit-ready evidence actually looks like

🔵 The 90-day path from fragmented AI deployment to a functioning runtime governance capability

The format

A private roundtable at IBM Innovation Studio London. Facilitated discussion, practitioner perspectives from Aligne AI and IBM, and dedicated peer networking. The room is intentionally small - senior leaders only, no observers. Expect to speak, not just listen.

Chatham House Rules apply. What is said in the room stays in the room. This is a space for senior leaders to speak candidly about the real state of AI governance in their organisations - without attribution, without agenda, without the usual conference filter.

Who this is for

CTOs, CISOs, Heads of AI, Chief Risk Officers and Compliance Directors deploying GenAI at scale in regulated sectors. Financial services, healthcare, telco, fintech, education and enterprise SaaS. If you are responsible for AI governance, AI risk, or AI infrastructure - this roundtable is built for you.

Places are limited to ensure a genuine peer-level conversation. We will not be filling the room.
