Moderated by the brilliant celebrity reporter and Screenrant host Liam Crowley, this discussion will be filled with transparency, warmth, and insight.
Panelists Include:
Jonah Fiengold is a New York-based filmmaker known for modern romantic comedies and digital storytelling under the umbrella of his media company, Romantical. A graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, he wrote, directed, and stars in 31 Candles, which premieres theatrically this fall in NY, LA, and Florida, among other cities. His debut feature, Dating & New York, premiered at Tribeca in 2021. He also directed At Midnight (Paramount+) and Exmas (Amazon). He recently wrapped Busboys, starring David Spade and Theo Von, which is currently in post-production.

Leaf Lieber is a NY/LA based director originally from Kauai, Hawaii. Lieber’s organic and visceral worlds often exist at the intersection of fantasy and reality, tackling themes of grief, transformation, and queer identity.
Lieber’s narrative, music video, and commercial work has been showcased globally with The Tribeca Film Festival, NOWNESS, BFI London, Vogue, Office Magazine, ALTER, OUTFEST, Provincetown, Deadline, Variety, and more. Most recently, he was the 2024 recipient of the Colin Higgins Filmmaker Grant presented by Frameline for his short-form narrative contributions.
He is currently developing his debut feature film.

Eleanore Pienta is an award-winning actor, comedian, dancer and filmmaker. Weaving in and out of the independent US film circuit, Pienta has carved out a niche for herself by portraying uncompromising and complex characters. Pienta’s own video and film output can best be described as veering towards the arena of conceptual video art; the work develops an interest with personal issues, body politics and the subversion of language in form and function. Pienta can be found right at the center of her pieces, handling banal situations with deadpan humor and off-beat charm from within the eye of the storm. Hers is an anti-comedy where oftentimes the target of the joke is Eleanore herself. Eleanore’s debut feature ELEANORE & NADINE is being produced by Olivia Wingate and Kiva Reardon, with principal photography to commence late 2026.

Danilo Parra is a Chilean-American filmmaker based in New York City. Beginning his artistic journey in Northern California, Danilo later moved to New York to pursue documentary storytelling after leaving the San Francisco Academy of Art University. His work in documentaries allowed him to travel extensively and observe cultural nuances around the world, insights he now weaves into his commercial and narrative work.
He has worked with Adam Driver, Spike Jonze, and has directed various projects for Apple. His projects have received industry recognition, including a Webby Award, AICP Award, Cannes Lion, and D&AD honors.
