Companionship - Reception Party
Established in 1963 as Yamaha Corporation's in-house design division, Yamaha Design Laboratory presents Companionship, a design studies exhibition program exploring the relationship between people and musical instruments at the historic landmark Neutra VDL Studio and Residences.
The exhibition will feature 10 design works and musical instruments throughout the floors and gardens of VDL House. Also on view will be photographs taken at Yamaha’s headquarters and piano factory in Japan by multimedia artist and photographer Johnny Le, who is serving as guest curator.
Join us for the opening reception during Los Angeles Design Week/end to view the exhibition, experience an intimate live performance by musician Nick Kivlen, and enjoy beverages provided by Rocky's Matcha.
Opening Reception Saturday, October 3 | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Please RSVP directly on this page using the registration button.
