Speed Friending for AAPI Women of Seattle
We invite you to join us for a 1-hour Speed Friending event for AAPI women in Seattle to build meaningful connections on July 31, 2026 from 4 to 5pm! Jen of Asians In Bloom and Adora of FAUNA are excited to host this at Anh Ơi Bake Shop in Japantown.
We will facilitate 3 rounds of semi-structured conversations that will be done in pairs. You will be randomly matched during each round. The discussion topics will be based on selected cards from Yumi Sakugawa’s Cosmic Comfort Deck. This is the description of the card deck:
“Cosmic Comfort offers permission from the universe to embrace your radiance, your weirdness, your most uncomfortable emotions, and your sacred connection to all beings on Earth. The calming meditations in this deck ask you to consider what nourishes you today—in this very moment.”
The ticket also includes a tasty Anh Ơi cookie and a cute Asians In Bloom sticker! There are limited spots, and RSVPs close on July 29 (edit: extended to July 30!).
Schedule
4-4:10pm: Mingling & intros from hosts
4:13-4:49pm: 3 rounds of 1:1 chats
