The Victory Lap (December): Rietvlei Zoo Farm (Hiking)
THE CONTEXT
Who: The Drievoet Society is a community of high-performance entrepreneurs, professionals, and side-hustlers.
Why: We believe Health is Compliance. If the engine breaks, the business stops. We hike to mitigate the risk of burnout and to build a network based on shared sweat equity, not sales pitches.
How: No titles. No pitches on the path. Just movement and meaningful connection.
THE MISSION
We made it. The books are closed. The audit is done. December is for The Victory Lap. We head to Rietvlei Farm in the South to walk off the year and celebrate the fact that we are still standing. This isn't about setting records; it's about raising a glass (or a coffee) to resilience.
THE LOGISTICS
Venue: Rietvlei Zoo Farm, Alberton (Johannesburg South).
Distance: ~5km - 10km (Choose your own adventure).
Time: Meet at 06:45 for 07:00 start.
Vibe: Festive, relaxed, and triumphant.
THE COSTS (Pay at Venue)
Access Card/Entry: ~R50 per person (Card/Cash at entrance).
The Year-End Function (Optional): We will take over a large table at one of the onsite restaurants (likely the picnic area or coffee shop deck). This is the official "Drievoet Year End." Budget ~R250 for a proper celebratory meal.
