Jumpstart Your Innovation Culture: Why Innovation Isn't a Technology Problem - It's a Team Problem
Innovation is often viewed as the result of breakthrough ideas or new technologies, but sustainable innovation begins with people. Innovation isn't a brainstorming problem - it's a team development problem. The most innovative organizations intentionally build cultures that encourage collaboration, experimentation, learning, and accountability and leaders play a critical role in creating those conditions.
In this interactive workshop, participants will explore how leadership shapes organizational culture, why entrepreneurial teamwork is the engine that transforms ideas into action, and how peer feedback can be used to strengthen team performance and sustain innovation over time. Drawing on research from organizational psychology and entrepreneurship, we will introduce six evidence-based entrepreneurial teamwork competencies and demonstrate how organizations can use structured peer feedback using itpmetrics.com to make team behaviours visible, support professional growth, and reinforce the culture they want to create.
Participants will actively apply these concepts to their own contexts by identifying cultural strengths and barriers, selecting priority leadership and teamwork behaviours, and developing a practical implementation plan for introducing or strengthening peer feedback within their teams.
This session is designed for founders, startup teams, managers, team leaders, researchers, educators, innovation professionals, and anyone responsible for building collaborative, high-performing teams.
