Too Much Ink: Singapore Ink Swap & Destash
Have too much fountain pen ink—or want to try new colours without committing to another full bottle?
Join us for a casual community ink swap, sampling and destash session at Coffeehive @ The Adelphi.
Bring a few inks from your collection to share, swap, give away or sell—or simply come along to discover what everyone else has brought. Whether you own two bottles or two hundred, you’re welcome.
Admission is free, but registration is required as space is limited to approximately 30 people.
HOW IT WORKS
Choose the attendee type that best describes you when registering:
WANT INK
Come browse, meet other fountain pen users and pick up samples from the inks available.
If you would like to collect samples, we will provide three empty 5 ml sample bottles with labels. You may bring your own clean sample bottles, although we encourage using the bottles provided at the event for consistency and peace of mind.
Additional sample bottles will also be available for purchase while supplies last.
HAVE INK
Bring fountain pen inks that you would like to share, swap, give away or sell. You can still browse and collect samples from everyone else.
We suggest planning around five inks so that the tables remain manageable, but you may bring more if you really cannot choose.
Each Have Ink attendee will receive:
Table space
Two 2.5ml syringes
Access to a basic rinsing and cleaning setup
You decide whether each ink is available for swapping, sampling, sale or giveaway, and you set your own prices and handle your own payments.
This is a community meetup, not a managed marketplace. All swaps, sales and giveaways are arranged directly between attendees and undertaken at their own discretion.
WHAT TO BRING
Any fountain pen inks you would like to share or destash
Your preferred payment method if you intend to buy or sell
Pens and paper for writing, swatching and showing off
Please note that this event is for fountain pen ink only. You are welcome to bring your pens and paper for personal use, but we will not be facilitating the sale or destash of pens, stationery or accessories.

Please read the Ink Swap Guidelines before attending. They exist mainly to protect everyone’s inks, keep the venue clean and make the event pleasant for the entire group.
