Saudade Swap: Bring a dish, swap something, feel a little less far from home

​About Event:

​Saudade. There's no real translation for it — it's that specific ache of missing something (or someone, or somewhere) you can't quite get back. If you've ever felt homesick in a language no one around you speaks, you already know the feeling. This event is organized by Definitely Tuga .

​This is a two-part evening, built for anyone living far from where they started.

​🍽️ Moment One: The Table
Bring one dish, cake, pastry, starter, drink, or snack that tastes like home — wherever home is. We'll share everything, potluck-style, and go around the table so everyone can tell the 30-second story behind what they brought. This part is slow, communal, and the whole point is the stories, not the food itself.

​👗 Moment Two: The Swap
Bring one item in good condition — clothing, accessories, a book, or a small piece of decor — something you're ready to let go of. Think of it as a low-key, no-cash swap. For instance, you bring 2x items, you get 2x items back.

​What's accepted for swap: clean, good-condition clothing, accessories, books, or small decor items.
Not accepted: damaged or worn-out items, damaged items or anything that doesn't fit in a tote bag.

​No pressure to have the perfect dish or the perfect item — bring what you have, take what speaks to you.

​Tis is a small, cozy gathering built for real conversations, not small talk, followed by a slower, more mindful way of giving your things a second life.

​Everyone is welcomed and it is included 1x drink per guest.
