Intro to Clay

​Intro to Clay is a relaxed, hands-on pottery session for Couch Social participants who want to work with clay, get their hands dirty, and spend a Sunday afternoon together.

​We’ll meet at Glassman Clay Studio for an instructor-led session covering foundational clay techniques. This is a beginner-friendly environment — no prior experience required. You’ll create your own pieces during the session, with glazing handled during a follow-up visit at your convenience.

​After the workshop, we’ll take a short pause to discuss Garden Club updates and open the floor for ideas, requests, and future collaborations. Couch Social is participant-led by design, and your voice matters.

​Logistics

• ​Cost: $65–$70 (paid directly to the studio)

• ​Minimum of 10 participants required for the event

• ​Note: A second visit is required to glaze finished pieces
