Cambridge Girlies: Girl Math Masterclass & Social | Part 2
Girl math says if you pay cash it doesn't count, a return is basically income, and anything under £5 is free. We get it. But it's time to reclaim girl math, and make it actually work for you 💸
Girl Math Masterclass is a two-part series bringing together two women, two perspectives, and one goal: giving you the knowledge and confidence to start building your financial future.
In this session, you'll get the real-life perspective. Sophie Blank (@itssophieblank) is a personal finance content creator who went from self-proclaimed broke girl to actively building long-term wealth. Sophie isn't a financial adviser. She's someone who started exactly where you might be right now and is sharing everything she's learned along the way.
Topics we'll cover:
💗 How to build confidence and agency to invest
🧩 What you need in place before you start: emergency fund, sinking fund, and more
✨ The order of operations, or what to do first if you only have £10k
🌱 How to get started and what investment options are out there
⏳ When is it too late to start investing?
The session includes a 45-minute presentation with time for Q&A.
No prior knowledge needed. No jargon. Just the kind of session that makes you wonder why nobody taught us this sooner.
What to expect:
☕ Coffee on arrival
🎤 A personal finance talk with live Q&A
🛍️ A curated goodie bag
🫶🏻 Time to socialise and connect with like-minded women
What to bring:
Just yourself and an open mind ✨
A notebook if you like taking notes, totally optional
Coming for both?
