Turn your life into story - capture your most captivating life milestones and find meaning behind it

Before my first memoir workshop, I didn’t think I had a story.

I met people in the fall season of their lives where their lived experience seemed like a well-orchestrated character’s arc - they connected the dots and found meaning in their crooked life trajectory. I met a professional hapkido martial arts fighter who won multiple accolades in Korea, or a Harvard dropout who decided to be a juggler for a living spending most of his youth in the 80s attending Renaissance Faires. I was in my late twenties still knee-deep in my life experience reliving my open questions. Was it too soon to draw conclusions?

Memoir writing invites us to see our lives not as a series of disconnected events, but as a tapestry. It allows us to understand not only what happened, but also how we responded—and who we became in the process. This kind of reflection is healing because it offers us something invaluable: perspective. It teaches us that every messy, painful, or confusing moment holds a gift when we’re ready to receive it.

In narrative therapy, the act of reframing is central. It’s the idea that we are not defined by what happens to us, but by the meaning we ascribe to our experiences.

When we map out our life’s key moments and identify the arc of our story, we begin to see ourselves not as victims of circumstance, but as active participants in our own transformation.

If you want to explore your story, join us for memoir series workshops. You don’t need to be a “writer” to begin—all you need is a story, a bit of courage, and a willingness to discover the insights waiting just beneath the surface. Together, we’ll weave our memories into something beautiful, something whole. Because healing isn’t just about what we’ve survived—it’s about the stories we choose to tell moving forward.

Join us for a night of inner exploration!

This workshop is part of 3 series that tackle dedicated topics of central theme, investigation, and reframing. No prior writing experience required! You are encouraged to attend all 3 workshops for a more wholesome experience but it's not a prerequisite.

Meet your host - Paula

Paula is humane tech evangelist - she loves building products that help us become the highest version of ourselves instead of enabling addictive behavior.

She is a fiction writer who can turn the most mundane plots into lyrical art forms imbued with emotional resonance. She doesn’t shy away from woo-woo like astrology, human design, or energy modalities as she sees them as tools that help you identify your growth edges.

She lived for far too long in her serious shell and only after tapping back into her creative source, did she find a way back to herself. She loves experimenting with somatic modalities where she constantly pushes the limits of her identity through movement. She runs improvisation & writing workshops where you can find emotional release to piece your authentic parts back together.
