About the Speakers:
Heather Larson is the Director of IT at Huntress, where she leads IT strategy and operations for a rapidly scaling cybersecurity company. With a career spanning major organizations like Google and Meta, as well as high-growth startups, Heather specializes in building high-performing teams, aligning IT initiatives with business goals, and driving operational efficiency at scale. She is passionate about fostering psychological safety in the workplace, ensuring teams feel empowered to take risks, learn from failures, and drive innovation. An experienced leader in hiring and team development, Heather has been deeply involved in technical recruiting, mentoring, and creating inclusive hiring practices. She is also a strong advocate for Women in Tech and is committed to increasing inclusivity in the industry.
Maxime Petazzoni is the Head of Engineering at Wherobots, a cloud solution for geospatial data analytics and AI at planetary scale. Prior to joining Wherobots, Max was a backend engineer and engineering leader at SignalFx and Splunk, where he led the architecture, development, and team building Splunk's APM and observability product for nearly a decade. Max has interviewed hundreds of candidates for all types of engineering roles, and more, building globally distributed, diverse, and effective teams in both startup and corporate environments.
