InCommodities x ICON

What’s it actually like to build a career in Aarhus as an international?

ICON is teaming up with InCommodities for a company visit at their Aarhus office, bringing together around 30 international students from math-econ, maths, physics, computer science, economics, finance and similar backgrounds.

InCommodities trades power, gas, and environmental products across global markets. From discretionary trading to building algorithms, forecasting, developing technology and managing risk, people with very different backgrounds work together to solve complex problems in markets that never stand still.

But this afternoon isn’t just about what InCommodities does. It’s about who works there – and what it’s like to build a career in Aarhus as an international.

At the event, you’ll get:

• Two talks from international colleagues at InCommodities, sharing their own journeys and experiences of working and building a life in Aarhus

• A tour of the InCommodities office and trading floor

• A fun and slightly competitive InCommodities LEGO challenge

• The chance to meet and talk with even more international colleagues from across InCommodities

• A casual dinner and plenty of time to chat, ask questions and network

Come curious, get creative and meet people who have already made Aarhus their home and built their careers here.
