About Event

*Note: This event is exclusively for Black folx only.*

In collaboration with The Tribe Collective, we’re hosting an intimate, living-room–style showcase at the apartment of Tribe co-founder Noah Wossen. Tribe is a social club for young Black professionals in San Francisco, centered on culture, connection, and community. This night is about sound and serendipity: meeting someone new, sharing a moment, maybe leaving with a new friend or number saved.

The lineup reflects that same range, depth, and soul:

Casey Cope blends hip hop with heavy guitars, synths, and 90s–00s rock and pop-punk influences. A San Leandro–based artist and producer, he handles every detail himself—and the live show hits different.

Nazelah Jamison is a poet, emcee, vocalist, and actress whose work spans national poetry slam stages and collaborations with Spearhead and Les Nubians. Her performances are electric, joyful, and rooted in hip hop and lived experience.

Ryan Allay brings retro soul with an Afro twist. Born in Cape Coast, Ghana and now based in California, his sound weaves AfroSoul, jazz, R&B, gospel, and reggae into warm stories of love, faith, and everyday life.

Come for the performances. Stay for the conversations. Leave feeling connected.

The Interlude, co-created by Ankita Bhanot and Ari Deng, is a concert series where music ties stories, spaces, and strangers together. We curate experiences that feel like a pause between the noise.
