โWhat is Laughter Yoga? Laughter Yoga is not comedy. It is a unique exercise program that allows anyone to learn to laugh without relying on humor, jokes or comedy. We initiate laughter in a group setting. Through eye contact and childlike playfulness, it quickly transforms into genuine and contagious laughter. Since the body cannot differentiate between real and voluntary laughter, you get the same scientifically proven health benefits whether laughter is real or simulated! It is called Laughter Yoga because the laughter exercises are interspersed with deep breathing.

โContraindications In Laughter Yoga
โLaughter Yoga is like any other aerobic exercise, and the same conditions apply as for any other aerobic activity like swimming, jogging, running, etc. Should you experience any pain, discomfort and breathlessness, you must stop Laughter Yoga and seek medical advice. Pregnant woman with history of miscarriage and those in the last two months of pregnancy and people with the following conditions must seek medical advice before doing Laughter Yoga exercises: hernia, incontinence in women, bleeding, heart problems with chest pain, major surgeries, epilepsy and severe backache.
