Ever wondered what it's like behind the scenes at Handshake? Join us for a site visit to Handshake, the online platform connecting college students and recent grads with employers for internships and full-time jobs (kind of like a career fair that's always open). You'll tour Handshake's offices, meet the team behind the platform, and get insider tips on how employers use Handshake to find candidates like you.
To sign up for the trek, you must first attend our Profile Power-Up Workshop on September 24th, where you'll learn how to build a standout profile across Handshake and other key platforms for your job search. Workshop attendees get exclusive first access to register for the site visit.

Day of Schedule:
9:45 am - Arrive on site & check in (Please note: You are responsible for your own transportation)
10:00 am - Office Tour
10:30 am - AI Presentation
11:00 am - Employee Panel + Q&A
12:30 pm - Wrap Up
Lunch is not provided. Feel free to use this opportunity to grab a bite & explore SF!

Handshake Site Visit has a capacity of max 30 students and open to waitlist. If you are unable to attend please make sure to notify Hannah Reyes, Experiential Learning Specialist (ha.reyes@northeastern.edu) and cancel your Luma registration. Not doing so may jeopardize future off-site and/or industry sponsored engagements.

Honor your commitment. By registering, you're taking a seat that another student may want. Again, if your plans change and need to de-commit, please cancel your Luma registration and notify Hannah Reyes, Experiential Learning Specialist at ha.reyes@northeastern.edu. Last minute cancellations disrupt the group and waste limited opportunities.
Give back to the community. After the event, you'll participate in a brief reflection to share your experience. This could be written feedback, a conversation with our team, or insights shared with your peers. Your contribution strengthens our learning community and helps future students see the real value of these opportunities.
