ExplorationTrain.org - Davos Week 2026
Be part of the most memorable venue during Davos Week 2026 from Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd by securing a bracelet to access our vintage wagons not being booked for private functions.
The extraordinarily popular Exploration Train is coming back, stationed just five minutes walk away from Platz station. We have doubled our capacity compared to last year and will have the following composition for up to 250 guests:
Piano Bar (40)
Gourmet Restaurant (30*)
Alpine Pub (40*)
Presentation Room (40)
Two standard wagons for private conversations (50 each)
Workspaces available from 08:00 - 00:00 Tue-Thu
*Reservations recommended for groups of 8+
-----
The accelerating trend of having several venues which were previously open during the week (e.g. Piano Bars) becoming unavailable unless you're on the guest list of the entity privatizing it motivated us to make ExplorationTrain.org more accessible to visitors - aligning it with the spirit of openness behind WisdomHouseDavos.org (a sister venue).
The reasonably priced ticket proposed here provides you with a bracelet to be collected upon arrival, giving access to the public areas of the train the whole week during our operating hours (Tue-Wed-Thu noon to midnight). Please note that access to specific wagons depends on private bookings so may vary.
The bracelet allowing you to board the train costs CHF50 in advance via this event page, then CHF95 onsite (credit cards or TWINT accepted). Food and beverages are not included, please order those from our catering staff. Please note that once issued tickets are non refundable.
You can pick up the bracelet by showing your ticket QR code at the train venue (Bolgenstrasse 3a) during our operating hours of noon to midnight:
Tue 20th 12:00 to 00:00
Wed 21st 12:00 to 00:00
Thu 22nd 12:00 to 00:00
The Exploration Train finances multiple nonprofit initiatives including the Exploration Film Festival tiny.cc/EFF_DZ, the Invest in Exploration Forum tiny.cc/Vaterland and multiple WisdomHouseDavos.org initiatives which have been featured several times by the local newspaper Davoser Zeitung:
