We're taking over the private apartment at Estela, Ignacio Mattos's Michelin-starred restaurant on East Houston, for the night. Estela has been one of downtown's defining restaurants since it opened in 2013, known for dishes like its ricotta dumplings and its famous endive salad. The apartment is the same kitchen in a much smaller room: a tucked-away space that feels more like a friend's dinner party than a restaurant reservation.
