Join us for a free career progression roundtable featuring some stellar leaders from The Ladder's community. This event will be a chance to discuss careeer progression in an intimate environment with professionals hailing from a variety of backgrounds.
Our panelists will share personal insights, career experiences, lessons learned, and practical perspectives on building a meaningful career and taking the next step professionally.
This will also be a chance to ask difficult questions about career to a panel of high-level professionals - participants are encouraged to bring their whole self. Whether you’re beginning your career, exploring new opportunities, or looking to advance in your current role, this conversation is a safe space for you to connect and learn.
Additionally, our partners at Protiviti will host a design thinking icebreaker to help everybody be intentional about how their are approaching career development and growth.

Jeffery Beckham is the CEO of Chicago Scholars, one of the largest college-access and leadership organizations in the country, and the co-founder and CEO of REACH Pathways, an AI-powered career platform that has guided more than 50,000 first-generation and low-income students toward college and careers.
Da’Veed is a Director within Protiviti’s Business Platform Transformation group based out of Chicago. Da'Veed serves as a practice lead on GRC Software-based implementations that aim to help clients integrate data, workflow and visualization technologies to drive process efficiency and effectiveness. Da'Veed is also responsible for business development initiatives and sales cycle management; responsibilities include facilitating prospective client discovery process, initial software demonstrations, proof-of-concept design and presentation, and contracting.
Lynessa Rico is a results-driven strategic consultant with over 25 years of experience enabling leaders to meet strategic business objectives by identifying and aligning business growth opportunities with strategic direction of culturally diverse organizations. She is Department Chair and an Associate Professor in the Business Psychology Department at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and Founder and CEO of Curiosity Edge.
Mario Gonzalez (moderator) is Director of External Affairs at Perspectives Charter School. He has extensive experience in operations, event planning, and donor relations, and is also a member of the Chicago Innovation Ladder Advisory Board.
