Maintaining Product Moats in the AI Era

Join us for the second LlamaIndex Founder Dinner.

As frontier labs expand what LLMs can do, from coding agents, and dedicated finance, healthcare, and legal versions of ChatGPT and Claude, it's getting harder to tell whether the gap between them and startups building specialized agents is closing or widening. This conversation explores that frontier.

Anchoring the conversation with LlamaIndex CEO Jerry Liu is Robert Yang, co-founder and CEO of Fundamental Research Labs, the team behind Shortcut. Robert has lived this question from both sides: he steered the company from game-playing agents to a spreadsheet agent that beats humans on Excel World Championship cases—and he ships in exactly the category everyone assumes a frontier lab will build next.

Capped at 12 seats.

The Founder Series brings together a small, curated room of early and mid stage founders + CTOs shipping agents in production, and one guest who has gone deeper on the topic than almost anyone. No sales, marketing, or partnership. A closed door forum for open learning and sharing.
