Kolab Connect: Your Favorite Hacks and Humans

Stuck happens. To all of us. And when it does, most of us have a little something we do to get going again, plus someone whose words get us fired back up. Maybe it’s a podcast host, an author, a coach, or that one person whose posts always hit right.

That’s what this session is about. Join Carolina and Rach to share your favorite hacks and your favorite humans.

What to expect:

  • A relaxed, interactive hour in Kolab, an online gathering spot that feels more like a room than a video call

  • Moving into small group conversations throughout the hour

  • Hands-on activities where everyone’s ideas come together in one place

  • Swapping the simple things that help you get moving again

  • Finding out who fires everyone else up and discovering new voices to follow

  • Ending with a little promise to yourself

Who should come: Anyone who’s been stuck at some point this year. So, everyone. Folks in the middle of change, team leads, facilitators, or anyone who could use an hour of good people. Come as you are.

Heads up: We plan to turn everyone’s hacks and humans into a public resource afterward, so what you share may be included.

Meet Your Facilitators

Rach Davis
Collaboration Co-Pilot + Kolab Facilitator-in-Residence

Rach has spent 20+ years sneaking playful thinking into agencies, corporate teams, and nonprofits that didn't always know they needed it yet. A collaboration co-pilot with a zig-zaggy background across brand strategy, design thinking, facilitation, and user experience, she helps teams let their brains breathe and think sideways to break out of their own echo chambers. Workshop design and facilitation for teams is her jam.

She's a certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator and a maker who even 3D prints her own facilitation tools. As Kolab's Facilitator-in-Residence, she crafts virtual spaces that feel like somewhere people actually want to be. Don't be surprised if you walk away a total convert to the idea that serious problems need playful thinking.

Carol Poll
Strategic Designer & Facilitator + Kolab Facilitator-in-Residence

Carol works remotely from a small town near Berlin, which lets her raise her daughter, work with people from all over the world, and run her own business on her own terms.

She knows remote work from the inside. She has led distributed design teams of up to 25 people, with designers from 19 countries spread across Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, Alicante, Helsinki, Paris, and India, sharing just one overlapping hour in the day. The feedback she heard more than once was how she made the team feel like a team, and she did that by design.

Today she builds simple systems and runs live sessions that help people make remote work fit their life. She’s a strategic designer and workshop facilitator with 18 years of experience.

Carol is a Kolab Facilitator in Residence and a Miro MVP with 195+ templates published on Miroverse, used 6,000+ times. She was part of Miro’s first AI creators cohort and demoed an AI-powered template at Miro Canvas 2026 in London.
