About Event
Join TroyLabs BUILD for a fireside chat with Jesse Draper, Founding Partner at Halogen Ventures, an early-stage venture fund.
Jesse started out in Hollywood hosting The Valley Girl Show before launching Halogen in 2015 as LA's first solo female GP. She's backed companies like Sugarfina and Babylist, and 5 other unicorns.
We'll talk about her path from media to venture, what earns a founder a second meeting, how to build consumer brands in crowded categories, and how to turn an unconventional background into an advantage. The last 20-30 minutes are open Q&A, so bring your questions!
Where: Hoffman Hall, Room B1 (701 Exposition Blvd)
When: Wednesday, Oct 28, 8:00-9:30 PM
