Logos London LSE Circle
Join the movement for sovereign tech and revitalised civil society
Saturday, 30 May • London School of Economics and Political Science (room MAR 2.06).
Come spend the afternoon with Roxana Nasoi and James Zaki from the Logos Ecosystem Team for a focused, practical introduction to Logos - a social movement and modular private decentralised technology stack designed to give people a real alternative to legacy systems of debt, surveillance, and corruption.
What we’ll cover:
The Logos mission and the grassroots activities already happening across London and in other regions worldwide
The Zero to Hero walkthrough of the technology stack: • Running your first node via binaries • Logos Basecamp (the Logos App) • Request for Proposals (RPFs) • Building on Logos opportunities (Logos λ Prizes)
Optional deep-dive topics from Jarrad Hope and Peter Ludlow’s book Farewell to Westphalia: post-nation states, parallel institutions, network states, and blockchain communities
Our motto: Build tools that are private-by-default. Build tools that revitalise civil society.
What to bring:
A well-charged laptop as we’ll be exploring the stack hands-on (running nodes and using Basecamp)
Notepad or device for notes if you want to dive into the philosophy
Any research, topics, or themes you’ve noticed your peers are excited about - this helps us understand your interests and needs better
Your favourite AI coding assistant for those who are at the start of their blockchain journey
