KAIKO Longevity Series - Thriving with Nutrition #3
This session is part of our Japan-born, evidence-based wellness series exploring what truly drives long-term metabolic health.
As Singapore and many ASEAN countries face rising rates of obesity, diabetes, and metabolic disorders, the conversation around supplements and functional foods has grown louder — and more confusing.
This session moves beyond trends and marketing to examine what actually matters from a public health and scientific perspective.
What we'll explore
The metabolic reality in Singapore and ASEAN
What current obesity and diabetes trends tell us — and why modern lifestyles are accelerating metabolic risk.Supplements: science, myths, and market noise
Which claims are supported by evidence, which are overstated, and how to think critically about functional ingredients and health products. How to identify what truly works
A practical framework for evaluating supplements and nutrition strategies in a crowded marketplace.Public health meets personal responsibility
Where policy, environment, and individual habits intersect — and what sustainable metabolic health actually requires.
This is a grounded, science-led conversation for those who want clarity in an era of overinformation — and who believe long-term health is built on evidence, not hype.
