​Friends, as the world continues to feel increasingly fractured, we need community more than ever. Our intention with this little gathering is simple: bring like-minded community weavers together. If you bring people together around a shared purpose, this is for you. If you’re creating, running, managing, leading or otherwise supporting communities/ networks/ ecosystems/ fellowships, this is for you.

​The gathering will be an informal opportunity to get to know each other and explore shared practices.

​Fabian Pfortmüller is co-founder of Together Institute, co-author of the Community Weaving Framework and co-creator of the Wasan Network.

​Avani Parekh: Hi 👋🏾 I’m Avani. I’m an Indian-American community and partnerships maven with a pretty curly career journey. 🌀🌀🌀🌀 From the desert salt pans of Gujarat, rural North Carolina, to the world of Web2 and Web 3, I'm a community builder standing at the intersection of tech and empathy. I'm super passionate about women's communities and creating safe spaces for the most marginalized. I’ve spent most of my career in social impact in India, Kenya and the US from gender-based violence to microfinance. Life handed me an opportunity to experience tech at Meta supporting community leaders around the world through coaching, programs and certifications. In the post-pandemic world I crave to build spaces where we can connect in real life. I love learning what makes your heart sing, and if we talk I will likely ask you this question.
