Beacon After Dark

​It would be an honor to have you join us for Beacon After Dark on Wednesday evening, August 19, on Martha's Vineyard.

This evening is filled with intention. With news that 30% Black elected officials are at risk of losing their seats, Beacon After Dark is a rallying cry — a call for the leaders among us to come together and talk about what's next: how we support, steward, and engage our communities, and how we strengthen Black communities for the road ahead. The evening closes a day that gathers more than 40 Black elected officials — mayors, state legislatures, U.S. Congressman, organizational leaders, intellectuals, and futurists.

And though this is, joyfully, a party on the storied shores of Martha's Vineyard, it is really an invitation to connect deeply with what matters most: community.
