Frequency - A Sound Journey
Join us for a guided, meditative sound experience, Thursday, September 10th from 6:30-7:15 at Inwood Artworks. This 45 minute sound bath journey is the perfect way to slow down, unwind from the week and reconnect with yourself.
Sound has long been used as a tool for recalibrating the body & mind and this session is designed to allow your body & nervous system to return to a more aligned state.
A range of resonant instruments - including chimes, gongs, drums, etc. - will be played during this experience. The sound from these instruments naturally give your mind an object to focus on, and it is this state of attention and deep listening - paired with the vibration & frequency of the sound - that creates an internal shift, attuning your body’s frequencies to that of the instruments, naturally allowing your nervous system to return to a more regulated state.
This is an invitation to listen, receive, and notice what happens - allowing yourself to experience sound in a way you haven’t before. No experience necessary. Simply come as you are & allow the sound to do the work.
