​Join us at Blackbird BioHub for a fireside chat with Infinity Bio founder and CSO Ben Larman, and Infinity Bio Chair/lead investor and PTX Capital Managing Partner, Matt Hellauer. The conversation will be led by Virginia Burger, Venture Partner at Blackbird Laboratories.

​Ben launched Infinity Bio in 2023 out of his John Hopkins research laboratory based on a first-in-class antibody reactomics platform. Matt founded and leads Baltimore-based PTX Capital, an investment and venture capital firm focused on healthcare and life sciences, and is Chairman of Infinity Bio. PTX Capital led Infinity Bio's 2024 seed round and participated in its 2025 Series A; Blackbird BioVentures participated in both funding rounds.

​Drawing on their experiences on the operational and investing sides of biotech, Ben and Matt will share insights on building and scaling platform companies. They will also discuss how data and algorithm needs are evolving as more code is written by AI.
