Music at York St: Luupy Selects — Beatriz • DJ Bhindi • Wufu
Luupy Music brings a selection of DJ sets and live music to the York Street listening room.
About Beatriz
Beatriz is a San Francisco–based DJ driven by curiosity and a love for creating energy through sound. A diverse selector, she plays across genres, drawing from a wide range of influences to create dynamic, unexpected sets.
This set is an exploration of rhythm and texture, where UK jazz, broken beats, and dub-inspired tones intertwine to form a narrative that moves between introspection and release.
About DJ Bhindi
Rohit (@djbhindi) is a bay area native DJ and part of the @luupymusic collective. Musically, his favorite thing is to bring weird sounds to new ears! His musical influences range from solo classical piano to prog metal but he largely plays experimental bass, IDM, and DnB.
This selection will be an assortment of beeps on beats, bathtub noises, and brain-tickle synths.
About Wufu
Wufu is a beatmaker and instrumentalist from San Francisco who thrives on sharing his creative process by blending live performance with production. His sound plays with space and emotion, bending genres to create something both experimental and inviting.
About Luupy
Luupy is a small Bay Area/California renegade group known for bringing an eclectic array of sounds, ranging from psychedelic bands to bass-driven electronic producers, to truly unique and memorable locations.
