The Good Hack
What is The Good Hack?
The Good Hack is a 2.5-day hackathon in 2026 focused on Singapore's ageing society from 8 to 10 May 2026. Participants will work in teams to develop innovative, tech-driven solutions that address the real challenges faced by elderly communities across Singapore and also consider applicability to cities in Southeast Asia.
Whether you're a developer, designer, policy enthusiast, or domain expert — there's a place for you here. We believe the best solutions come from diverse teams tackling problems they care about.
GoodHub SEA is part of Stewards for Good (SFG) experimental program that empowers community leaders to run versions of Build for Good. Build for Good is a citizen’s initiative by Open Government Products, that inspires citizens to make Singapore better with technology.

About Open Government Products
Open Government Products (OGP) is an experimental development team that builds technology for the public good. This includes everything from building better apps for citizens to automating the internal operations of public agencies. OGP's role is to accelerate the digital transformation of the Singapore Government by being a space where it can experiment with new tech practices, including new technologies, management techniques, corporate systems, and even cultural norms. Our end goal is that through our work, Singapore becomes a model of how governments can use technology to improve the public good.
