Immigrant Entrepreneurs in Focus: A Global Detroit Research Share

​Come join Global Detroit, our Businesses and People for Immigration campaign, and partners at ProsperUs Detroit for the release of our new report, "Job Creators: How Metro Detroit’s Immigrant and Diverse Entrepreneurs Are Key to Regional Prosperity." This report looks at business ownership in Metro Detroit and highlights the contributions of immigrants, women, African Americans, Latino/a and other business owners to creating jobs, generating economic activity and tax base, and building vibrant neighborhoods.

​In addition to releasing the report, Global Detroit will discuss how it is using research, communications, and campaigns like Businesses and People for Immigration to build a more truthful and factual (and less reactive) narrative around immigration and the contributions that immigrants make in Michigan.

​This event is free, however donations are always welcome, particularly as our annual Spring Giving fundraiser runs April 13 to May 26. Campaign information, pledge rewards, and QR code will be available at the event.
