Workshop: From Germany to Silicon Valley
What's it really like to build an AI startup in Silicon Valley?
On June 10, we're hosting Anna-Julia Storch, co-founder of Dryft and ex professional ski racer, and Felix Bose, SWE at Dryft and ex Tacto Engineer, for an evening on what it takes to go from Germany to Silicon Valley.
Dryft raised a $5M seed round led by General Catalyst to build AI that mimics, optimizes, and automates complex human decisions in manufacturing operations. 🚀
Anna-Julia will share her lessons learned and what’s different about founding a company in San Francisco versus Germany, followed by an open Q&A session. You’ll also work on a small system design engineering challenge in teams and then discuss your approaches together with us afterward. This will give you a feel for the kinds of challenges we work on day to day. We’ll wrap up the summer evening together with a barbecue. 🥩
