Get into the flow of AI-assisted development, without leaving good engineering practices behind. This workshop targets beginners and novice vibers. We’ll kick off with a short introduction to coding harness and model options, then dive into a hands-on vibe coding session using a public repository. Together, we’ll implement features on an existing product and explore how clear instructions, useful context, small iterations, code review, and testing help turn AI-generated code into changes you can trust.

Introduction to vibe coding: Explore AI coding harnesses and model options, their differences, and how to choose a setup for your workflow.
Getting to know the product: Getting familiar with the product we will be working on.
Hands-on feature development: Build features with AI assistance while practising clear task scoping, effective instructions, context management, and small, incremental changes.
Review, test, and refine: Inspect generated code, validate behaviour, troubleshoot issues, and check for regressions.
Wrap-up and takeaways: Share results, discuss what worked and what didn’t, and capture practical habits for AI-assisted development.
Instructor
Blaž Pridgar is a data scientist at Valira AI and holds a master's degree in data science. He develops computer vision solutions from research to production, covering everything from data engineering to model training and integration. Along the way, he has gained hands-on insight into where AI-driven development speeds things up and where it still needs a human in the loop.
