BH Lunch Investor Presentation
Beverly Hills Family Office Network Lunch Investor Presentation on September 29, 2026 — ProCap Asset Management
ABOUT EVENT
Our featured presenting company, ProCap Asset Management (PCAM), is a commercial real estate credit manager originating senior secured bridge and construction loans to middle-market sponsors along the U.S. Eastern Seaboard and select Midwest markets. The team will discuss the firm's strategy, its leadership, and the current investment opportunity for qualified investors — including tax-efficient access through private placement life insurance structure (PPLI).
Hudson Capital Partners is acting as placement agent for the raise.
Why ProCap Asset Management Matters
PCAM is led by Managing Partner Tom Marano, who has spent four decades at the center of U.S. mortgage and structured credit — much of which he helped build. He joined Bear Stearns in 1981 and became Global Head of Mortgage and Asset-Backed Securities, running a $50 billion trading book across the U.S., U.K., and Japan. He priced the first Fannie Mae REMIC (1987) and structured the first multi-tranche senior CMBS (1993). He went on to found Cerberus's Mortgage Capital Markets Group, served as Chairman of GMAC Financial Services, and was CEO of ResCap, Ditech, and Intrawest — running large platforms through the worst credit cycle in modern history. He currently sits on the board of Apollo's Asset-Backed Credit Company.
That experience underwrites every loan the Fund makes. PCAM is a direct lender, not an allocator: the team sources sponsors directly, underwrites and documents each loan, administers construction draws, and retains servicing — including the ability to step in and finish a project if a developer fails to perform.
ProCap's approach emphasizes:
First-mortgage senior secured position on every loan
Direct sponsor origination in markets the team knows, at conservative loan-to-cost
Ground-up construction and transitional bridge, floating rate with rate floors and fully capitalized interest reserves
Hands-on construction asset management from first funding through payoff
A senior team with over 90 years of collective CRE experience, working together for an average of ten years
The firm is raising the ProCap Asset Management Real Estate Credit Fund, LP — a $500 million evergreen REIT targeting mid-teens net returns, with an initial close expected in Q3 2026.
Tax-Efficient Access: PPLI
Private credit income is generally taxed at ordinary rates. For investors who qualify, holding the same strategy inside a properly structured private placement life insurance policy allows returns to compound without annual income tax, stay largely accessible during the insured's lifetime, passes to beneficiaries income-tax-free, and generate no K-1s. The team will cover how the structure works.
PPLI is subject to eligibility and insurance underwriting. Nothing here is tax or legal advice.
