Creating an inclusive, disability‑friendly business doesn’t have to be expensive or overwhelming. In fact, 28% of Americans have some type of disability* – being an inclusive business is good for your bottom line!

In this dynamic presentation, small business owners will learn simple, practical, and affordable strategies for welcoming customers with a wide range of disabilities. It will feature a panel of people with disabilities, who will share their real‑world experiences that show how small changes can drive where they choose to shop and dine. Their disabilities include using a wheelchair, or being Deaf, blind, or neurodiverse.

Hosted by the Office of Disability and Accessibility and the Office of Small Business, in partnership with the San Francisco Public Library's Small Business Center.

All programs are drop-in (no registration necessary) unless otherwise noted. All SFPL locations are wheelchair accessible. For accommodations, call (415) 557-4557 or contact [email protected]. Requesting at least 3 business days in advance will help ensure availability.

By registering for this event, you agree to share your registration information with the organizers of San Francisco Small Business Week.
