Career Mastermind • Coffee for 6 • by LYTT
Wondering about your next career move? Hunting for a new job? Working on something of your own? Curious how AI will change your work? It doesn't have to be a solo sport.
This isn't a typical networking event. You sit down over coffee with 5-6 people we pick for you, based on where you are and who you’d like to meet.
The best outcome isn't just one good morning. It's finding the people you'll keep meeting: your own long-term career mastermind group.
This is for you if
You're trying to figure out what comes next
You're sending out applications and not hearing back
You're wondering how AI will affect your job
You've been through it and have experience worth sharing
You just want someone to talk to who gets it
Who we're inviting
People in the middle of a search, between roles, or thinking about a switch. And people who've been through it: hiring managers, recruiters, career changers, and anyone working in a field others are curious about. The best tables have a mix of both.
How the morning goes
No host runs it. A loose shape: go around once, each person shares where they are and what they're stuck on, then talk.
You might leave with a referral, a new idea for your resume, an honest take on an offer, or the nudge you needed.
Don't try to solve everything in one morning. If the table clicks, keep meeting.
Pick who you meet (optional)
Everyone going gets a profile in the LYTT app. Browse who's coming and tell us who you'd like to meet. It's optional, but it's the best way to make the morning worth your time: we expect a big pool of professionals.
Logistics
Big pool, small tables: this isn't a networking event for hundreds of people. Everyone sits at a small table at a coffee shop in Toronto, and tables can be at different spots. We'll send you yours the day before. Your coffee is included.
About LYTT
LYTT is a new way to experience events in small groups: mornings like this one, lecture nights, and Friday dinners. On Nov 13 there's Table for Six, and Maybe Date if you're open to something more.
Founded in Toronto in 2025 by an ex-Microsoft engineer as a research project into what makes people click. 12 events so far, the biggest with 70 people.
